Ultra-lightweight fully autonomous AI agent infrastructure with 678 KB single binary, supporting 22+ AI providers and 17+ communication channels.

NullClaw is an ultra-lightweight fully autonomous AI agent infrastructure written in Zig 0.15.2. Core features include: 678 KB static binary (ReleaseSmall), ~1 MB peak memory, <2 ms startup time (Apple Silicon), zero external dependencies (only libc + optional SQLite).

Core Capabilities:

  • AI Model Support (22+ Providers): OpenRouter, Anthropic, OpenAI, Ollama, Venice, Groq, Mistral, xAI, DeepSeek, Together, Fireworks, Perplexity, Cohere, Bedrock, etc., with custom OpenAI-compatible endpoint support.
  • Communication Channels (17+): CLI, Telegram, Signal, Discord, Slack, WhatsApp, LINE, Lark/Feishu, OneBot, QQ, Matrix, IRC, iMessage, Email, DingTalk, MaixCam, Webhook.
  • Tool System (18+ Tools): shell, file_read/write/edit, memory_store/recall/forget, browser_open, screenshot, http_request, hardware_info, etc.

Architecture Design: Adopts a vtable interface architecture where all core subsystems (Provider, Channel, Tool, Memory, Tunnel, Peripheral, Observer, Runtime) are replaceable with zero code changes. The memory system uses an SQLite backend with hybrid search (FTS5 full-text + vector cosine similarity), supporting auto-archiving and cleanup.

Security & Deployment: Features multi-layer sandbox isolation, ChaCha20-Poly1305 encryption, audit logging, and pairing authentication. Includes a Cron scheduler and heartbeat engine. Compatible with ARM/x86/RISC-V platforms, suitable for $5-class SBCs, edge devices, and self-hosted scenarios.
